Emily D'Agostino

Senior Researcher And Epidemiologist; Research Consultant at Miami-Dade County

Emily D'Agostino is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in public health and epidemiology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Director of Community-Engaged Research Practice at Duke University School of Medicine since August 2019, D'Agostino previously held the role of Assistant Professor in the same department. Additionally, D'Agostino has been a Senior Epidemiology Consultant and Research Consultant for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene since March 2012 and a Senior Researcher and Epidemiologist for Miami-Dade County since December 2015. Prior experience includes project coordination and management roles at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, as well as adjunct lecturing at Hunter College and teaching biology and research methods at the NYC Department of Education. D'Agostino holds a Doctor of Public Health in Epidemiology from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and multiple degrees in education and anthropology from various esteemed institutions, including Stanford University and Pomona College.
