Eric Herrera

Eric Herrera, CPA, CGFM, has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as the Assistant Division Director in the Finance Department of Miami-Dade County since January 2017. In this role, Eric has held various positions, including Financial Reporting Manager and Finance Auditing and Reporting Administrator. Prior experience includes working as Assurance Staff in the Financial Services Office at EY from October 2015 to October 2016 and interning at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in the Office of Financial Management in 2012. Eric holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
