Natalie Mattis

Natalie Cortes, MS, is a seasoned public outreach professional currently serving as the Senior Public Outreach Officer at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) since March 2022. Prior to this role, Natalie held the position of Public Outreach Manager at AECOM, where efforts focused on marketing and communication for the Florida Department of Transportation's District Four Transportation Systems Management & Operations Group, impacting over 4 million residents. Additional experience includes roles as Public Relations Specialist for Hard Rock Energy Drink and Public Relations Coordinator for The Pinnacle Agency, along with an early career as Event Coordinator at Urban Events, Inc. Natalie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations/Marketing from the University of Miami and a Master of Science in Media Management from Arkansas State University.
