Alejandra Perez

Alejandra Perez is an accomplished librarian currently employed at the Miami-Dade Public Library System since July 2021, where responsibilities include cataloging and developing the children’s department collection. Previous roles at Florida International University involved HR customer service and enrollment coordination, effectively managing customer inquiries and facilitating communication for online program applicants. Additional experience includes a senior guest service role at Four Seasons Hotels and a human resources clerk position with the U.S. Department of State, focusing on employee support and administration. Alejandra holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Florida State University and has earned advanced degrees in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s in Spanish Language and Literature.
