Nicholas Alvarado

Nicholas Alvarado is a skilled photojournalist currently employed at WPLG since May 2023, where high-quality content is created for television and online platforms, with a focus on editing for quick-turnaround newscasts using Avid software. In addition to this role, Nicholas is a camera operator and utility team member for the Miami HEAT, capturing live footage during nationally broadcast NBA events since November 2021. Prior experience includes working as a graphic and video editor at Full Moon Creative LLC from May 2021 to May 2023, where typography and motion graphics were designed for various video content, as well as contributing to production efforts for City Council meetings involving setup and operation of advanced camera and audio equipment. Nicholas graduated with a high school diploma from Cypress Bay High School in June 2020.
