Senior Director, Sports Media Relations at Miami Heat

Rob Wilson begins his 21st season with the HEAT and his sixth as Senior Director of Sports Media Relations. He originally joined the HEAT as Assistant Director of Sports Media Relations in August of 1999 before being elevated to Director of Sports Media Relations in September of 2002. Wilson, who was promoted to his current position in October of 2014, is responsible for the HEAT’s day-to-day and game-night media operations and serves as the team’s statistical historian. He also assists Vice President, Sports Media Relations Tim Donovan with daily player and coach interviews, travels with the team and serves as a media liaison on the road. Wilson has also served as the editor of the HEAT media guide for each of the past 21 seasons and served seven seasons as editor of the HEAT postseason guide.
