Armando Aguilar, MPA, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Assistant Chief of Police and Administration Division Chief for the Miami Police Department, overseeing numerous administrative functions and a workforce of 300 employees. With extensive experience in law enforcement, previous roles include Major in the Internal Affairs Section, Commander, Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police, and various supervisory positions. In addition to police service, Armando Aguilar contributes to national crime and policing policies as a Law Enforcement Subcommittee Member for the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee and as a Steering Committee Member for the Policing Leadership Academy.
