Kristen Thompson

Kristen Thompson has extensive experience in marine animal care and training, currently serving as an Animal Care & Training Intern at Miami Seaquarium since 2012. Previous roles include Marine Mammal Volunteer at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, where Kristen conducted dolphin behavioral observations and educational sessions. As a Dolphin Husbandry and Training Intern at Marineland Dolphin Adventure, Kristen gained hands-on experience in dolphin training, medical assistance, and public education. Earlier experience includes an internship at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration focusing on pinnipeds and penguins, and serving as a Welcome Desk Attendant at Saint Louis Zoo. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lynn University, completed in 2011.
