Brian Furnish

Brian Furnish has extensive experience in advancement administration and legal practice. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Administration and Chief Administrative Officer at Miami University since May 2011, Brian has also held roles as Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Director of Development for the College of Education, Health & Society, and Associate Director of Gift Planning at the same institution. In addition, Brian is the owner of Furnish Law, LLC since October 2004 and previously worked as a Staff Attorney at the Ohio Twelfth District Court of Appeals from August 2004 to May 2011. Brian's early career includes a legal internship at the Butler County Court of Common Pleas in 2002. Educationally, Brian obtained a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2004 and a B.S. in Business with a focus on Legal Studies from Miami University in 2001.
