David Ellis

David Ellis has extensive experience in budgeting, policy analysis, and public finance. Currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Budgeting & Analysis at Miami University since January 2011, David previously held roles such as Assistant Director at the Ohio Office of Budget and Management and Director of Policy, Planning and Programs at The Center for Community Solutions. With a strong foundation in public policy earned through a Ph.D. from West Virginia University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the same institution, David's career also includes significant positions in legislative analysis and research within the West Virginia government.
