Kim Tavares

Kim Tavares serves as the Associate Vice President for University Advancement and Executive Director of the Alumni Association at Miami University since December 2008. Tavares leads a professional team focused on engaging over 240,000 alumni through innovative events and communications, while also holding various senior leadership roles in strategic planning and marketing within the university's advancement division. Prior to this role, Tavares accumulated significant experience at the Public Broadcasting Service, where responsibilities included managing corporate support initiatives, media relations, and awards campaigns. Tavares holds a Master of Business Administration from Miami University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
