Liz Walsh-Treviño

Liz Walsh-Treviño currently serves as the Director of Orientation and Transition Programs at Miami University, a position held since July 2014. Liz has previously held roles at Miami University, including Assistant Director and Resident Director/First Year Adviser. Notable contributions include an independent study project focusing on orientation leaders' skill development, collaboration with Dr. Stephen John Quaye on diversity and inclusion research, and instruction of a course on intergroup dialogue in Costa Rica and Panama. Additionally, Liz gained experience as an Orientation Intern at Assumption College and has engaged in various leadership training and assessment initiatives throughout the career. Liz holds a Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field at Miami University. Bachelor's degree in Communication/Public Relations was obtained from Western New England University.
