Dave Sutak

Dave Sutak has extensive work experience in the security industry. Dave started their career as an Assistant Director of Security at Wheeling Island Gaming in 2003. During their time there, they were responsible for the EMS and Security departments and successfully organized projects and delegated tasks to maximize staff effectiveness. Dave was promoted to Assistant Director of Security and Surveillance, where they supervised the Surveillance operation and personnel and investigated employee theft incidents.

In 2008, Sutak became the Director of Security at Wheeling Island Gaming Hotel Casino Racetrack. Dave directed security operations at a casino, hotel, and concert hall, and managed a budget of over $1.2 million. Dave held this position until 2011 when they joined The Meadows Racetrack and Casino as the Director of Security. In this role, they managed all security operations in a large casino with various facilities and implemented guest service training and a sensitive key control program.

In 2013, Sutak joined Caesars Entertainment Corporation as a Security Manager. Dave directed the security start-up operations at Thistledown Racetrack, preparing for the addition of 1100 VLT machines. Dave hired and trained a new staff of officers and wrote the SOP manual to maintain compliance with regulations.

Later in 2013, Sutak became the Director of Security at Miami Valley Gaming. Dave built and maintained a management and hourly staff team for this dynamic organization with gaming machines, a race track, and restaurant/bar facilities. Dave also served as a trusted advisor for security risks.

Throughout their career, Sutak has demonstrated leadership, management skills, and expertise in security operations within the gaming industry.

Dave Sutak earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from West Liberty University, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Gaming Management from the University of Nevada Reno, although the specific month and year of completion have not been provided.
