MIAMI VALLEY SCHOOL
Kellie Carter has over two decades of experience in science education, currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher at The Miami Valley School since August 2002, where responsibilities include teaching 6th and 7th-grade lab-based science curricula and advising student government. Prior to this position, Kellie held the role of Science Coordinator at The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery from 1997 to 2001, overseeing hands-on lab activities and the Science Theatre. Kellie's early career includes a position as a Naturalist at Dayton MetroParks, where environmental science was taught to inner-city youth. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wright State University, completed in 1997.
