Munkhtamir Batbayar

Munkhtamir Batbayar has a diverse range of work experience, beginning in 2011 at Oyu Tolgoi LLC as a Business Solution (SAP) Support Specialist, where they worked until 2016. During this time, they also served as a Process Improvement Leader. In 2017, Batbayar joined MIAT Mongolian Airlines as the Head of Foreign Relations and Cooperation Department, a role they held until 2020 when they were promoted to Vice President. Most recently, in October 2021, Batbayar was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of MIAT Mongolian Airlines.

Munkhtamir Batbayar completed their high school education at the Advanced School of Mathematics #11 from 1996 to 2002. Munkhtamir then pursued a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2006. Munkhtamir later attended Virginia International University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Business degree with a specialization in International Finance.
