Daniel J. Gortze

Daniel Gortze joined MIB in 2020 as Chief Information Security Officer. Mr. Gortze is responsible for enterprise information security, business continuity, and enterprise risk management. Prior to joining MIB, Mr. Gortze was Director of Information Security & IT Infrastructure at Cumberland Farms, a privately held convenience store and gas station chain, and was responsible for information security strategy and IT infrastructure operations. Previously, Mr. Gortze was Senior Manager — Security and Risk Consulting at SecureWorks, where he led several consulting teams investigating client data breaches and security incidents. Mr. Gortze is an (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, and a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from the Isenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
