Dean A. Del Vecchio is the Director at MIB. Dean was previously the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Global Head of IT Services at News Corp from February 2013 to July 2013. Dean was responsible for all the technology the company deployed and developed, including infrastructure and customer applications. Dean consolidated what was previously a decentralized information technology organization into a unified group to support products ranging from The Wall Street Journal to Factiva and Dow Jones Newswires, as well as corporate functions.

From 2007-2013, Dean served as a leading member of the NewsCorp CIO council. Prior to News Corp, Dean joined Dow Jones in December of 2005 as Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure Services and was promoted to CIO in October 2007. At Dow Jones, Dean created innovative new platforms for news and information delivery and discovery while modernizing the systems through which Dow Jones communicates and operates. Dean was responsible for shared global infrastructure and application services, information security, business continuity planning, enterprise architecture, project management, strategic sourcing, and IT governance. Dean was also accountable for the real estate portfolio of 160 locations around the world.

During their time at Dow Jones, Dean served as the company’s Chief Administrative Officer where they created a vision and plan to significantly improve administrative services delivery and underlying processes. Dean also implemented company ESG efforts and was a key driver on a project to install one of the largest solar-power installations at a corporate site in the U.S.

Dean A. Del Vecchio has a MBA from Villanova University in Business Administration and Management, General. Dean also has a diploma in Computer Operations from GDSI. In addition, they have various certifications from Guardian Life in JEDI Executive Leadership, MARC, ERG Leader, and Eliminate Barriers.
