Karen Everitt

Karen Everitt has a long and impressive work experience in the field of risk management and insurance. Karen is currently serving as the Vice President of Risk Management Services at Mutual Insurance Company of Arizona (MICA) since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked at ProAssurance for many years, holding various roles such as Vice President of Risk Resource, Education & Quality Improvement, Vice President of Risk Management for Southern, Mid-Atlantic, and Western Regions, Director of Risk Management Services, Education, and Risk Resource, Manager of Risk Resource, and Senior Risk Management Consultant. Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated expertise in providing risk and quality management advice, developing educational materials, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing liability risks for healthcare providers and organizations.

Karen Everitt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Auburn University. Karen also holds a Doctor of Law degree (JD) from The University of Alabama School of Law. In addition to their education, Karen is certified as an Attorney by the Alabama State Bar and as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama State Board of Nursing.
