Shane Kroeger

Shane Kroeger is an experienced outdoor professional with extensive expertise in guiding and mountain safety. As the Guiding Manager at Mica Heliskiing since June 2006, Shane oversees all guiding operations and the mountain safety program in a remote backcountry setting. Additionally, as Owner/Operator of Simply Adventures, Shane specializes in customized ski mountaineering and whitewater kayaking trips and safety consulting globally. Previous roles include Expedition Trip Leader at The River League, where Shane led commercial river expeditions in British Columbia, Northwest Territories, and Alaska, and Mountain Manager at Island Lake Lodge, responsible for comprehensive mountain operations and safety protocols. Shane holds an ACMG Ski Guide degree from Thompson Rivers University and a Level 3 Avalanche Operations certification from the Canadian Avalanche Association.
