MICAH House is an emergency family shelter located in Council Bluffs, Iowa that serves Sarpy and Douglas County. Since 1986, MICAH House has been a haven for families and individuals who are experiencing a housing crisis. MICAH House provides the resources and support necessary to regain self-sufficiency and reenter the community. The organization has grown from when the first guest was served in 1987 to meet the needs of more than 950 individuals annually with integrative services that offer support, education and respect.
