Julie Thurman

Julie Thurman, PE, currently serves as the Director of Transportation and Project Manager at Michael Baker International, a position held since January 2012. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. Project Manager at Janssen and Spaans Engineering from February 2000 to December 2011, Project Manager at USI Consultants, Inc. from 1998 to 2000, and Project Engineer at the Indiana Department of Transportation from 1993 to 1998. Julie began a career in the industry as an Estimator at Milestone Contractors (formerly Contractors United, Inc.) from January 1991 to January 1993. Julie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, attending from 1987 to 1990, and completed secondary education at Northfield High School from 1982 to 1986.
