Mia Salom

Mia Salom is a Civil Associate Engineer specializing in water at Michael Baker International since September 2023. Previously, Mia held the role of Management Intern at the City of San Diego from September 2022 to September 2023, contributing to the development of floodplain management training standards for the public and city departments. Mia also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Clear Blue Sea in 2021 and was an active member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women from January 2019 to August 2021, participating in philanthropy events supporting literacy initiatives. Earlier work included serving as a Pool Concierge and Cafe worker at The Bay Club Company from May 2018 to August 2019. Mia is pursuing a degree in Sustainability Studies at the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, expected to be completed in 2022.
