Sonja Simpson

Dr. Sonja Simpson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in public administration and transportation management. Currently serving as the Office Executive and Vice President at Michael Baker International since March 2019, Sonja oversees office personnel and business activities while leading project support. Previously, as the Owner and President of Team Simpson Enterprises, LLC, Sonja focused on residential property maintenance. Academic roles include Adjunct Faculty positions at Franklin University and The Ohio State University's John Glenn School of Public Affairs. Sonja held various leadership positions within the Ohio Department of Transportation, culminating in the role of Assistant Director of Field Operations and managing significant operations across the state's transportation network. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Business Administration from Northcentral University and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Geography & Regional Planning and Environmental Science, respectively.
