Sydney Johnson

Sydney Johnson is an experienced water resources professional currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager at Michael Baker International since October 2024. Previously, Sydney held positions as a Civil Associate II at Michael Baker International from May 2022 to June 2024, and as a Design Engineer for NV5 from July 2020 to May 2022. Sydney began a career in environmental engineering as a Junior Engineer with the State Water Resources Control Board, assisting in the review of public water distribution systems plans in California. Contributions also include serving as Outreach Chair for Chi Epsilon, coordinating events for civil engineering students, and conducting summer research as a Student Research Assistant at San Diego State University focused on hydrology and flooding prediction models. Sydney holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from San Diego State University.
