D. Ray Scott

D. Ray Scott, CSP, PE, serves as a Senior Safety Consultant at Michael Brooks Consulting, LLC, since January 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. EHS Manager at Emirates Global Aluminium from January 2020 to January 2021, and various positions at Alcoa from June 1981 to January 2020, culminating in the position of EHS Manager at Arconic, which emerged from Alcoa in November 2016. Notable accomplishments include managing safety for large-scale projects, such as overseeing the completion of the automotive expansion at the TN Operations rolling mill and leading efforts in the construction and startup of a world-class aluminum rolling mill with zero lost time injuries over 40 million hours. Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1981.
