Jason W. Mathews

Jason W. Mathews is an experienced professional in product development and research and development (R&D) within the food industry. As the Director of Product Development at Artisan Kitchens, LLC since July 2018, Jason leads the development process from formulation to sales presentations. Prior to this role, Jason held various positions at Michael Foods from 1992 to the present, including Senior Scientist and Group Manager, where responsibilities included driving innovation and managing R&D efforts for multiple business units. Earlier experience includes roles at Kraft General Foods and service in the MN Army National Guard as a cook. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from Minnesota State University, a Culinary Arts certification from Southwest Minnesota State University, and an Associate of Science in Food & Nutrition from the University of Minnesota, Waseca.
