Drayton Saunders

Although he grew up immersed in the culture of the company, Drayton Saunders didn't formally join Michael Saunders & Company® until January of 2003. Since then he has held several key leadership roles that have culminated in his current position as company president

Drayton considers community involvement an integral part of his role within the company and as a resident. In 2011, he chaired the company's philanthropic arm, MSC Foundation, to give agents and team members an additional vehicle to connect to the areas they serve. Through the MSC Foundation, donations are distributed through semi-annual grants to deserving local organizations offering shelter, sustenance, education, and a path to self-sufficiency.

Committed to the success of Gulf Coast businesses and real estate industry, Drayton is active in a variety of local, state, and national organizations, including the National Association of Realtors®. He is President-elect for Stellar MLS and sits on the Board of Directors for Gulfside Bank, Sarasota Economic Development Corporation, and the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.

He is also an early supporter of the Bay Park Conservancy, a nonprofit organization with a long-term master plan to optimize access to Sarasota's beautiful Bayfront. In Drayton's spare time, he enjoys sailing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
