Ian Carson

Ian Carson is a Senior Product Design and Industrialization Engineer at Michelin since June 2022, previously holding the position of Product Design and Industrialization Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at SEW Eurodrive, where innovative solutions were developed, including the 3D printing of laser marking fixtures and unique gear driving parts that improved manufacturing processes. Ian also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Sealed Air Corporation, where a cost analysis was initiated for electrical enclosure replacements and custom parts were created for high-value machinery under tight deadlines. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, earned in 2022.
