Mieke Nelson

Mieke Nelson has over 30 years of experience in supply chain management, continuous improvement, and production operations. Since 2010, Mieke has held several roles at Michelin, currently serving as Supply Chain Competency Manager and Progress Leader, where responsibilities include enhancing business outcomes through business intelligence and analytics. Previous positions at Michelin include Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager, Progress Leader, and various Production Manager roles. Prior to Michelin, Mieke worked at EuroKera NA from 1997 to 2010, where roles included Continuous Improvement Manager and Product Development Manager. Mieke's career began at Owens Corning as a Manufacturing Engineer and Supervisor from 1993 to 1997. Mieke holds a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from Clemson University, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Villanova University, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University.
