Beki Herbert

She joined Michelmores in 2017 as part of the Knowledge & Information Services Team and am now the Information Services Manager.

The core responsibility of her role is to manage and review the online information services in addition to the acquisition, management, display and circulation of hard copy titles.

She is the primary contact for the enquiry service which provides legal, sector and company research to the firm.

She work closely with the trainee solicitors, providing research support and regular 1:1s and also meet with all new joiners to discuss their knowledge and information requirements to ensure they have all the necessary resources and tools to succeed in their role.

She is responsible for the current awareness platform, ensuring the people remain up to date with legislative developments in their practice area as well as their client’s sectors.

She completed her Masters in Information Science at Northumbria University in 2021.
