Elizabeth Newson

Elizabeth is a Partner in the Real Estate team in Exeter.

She joined the Firm as a Senior Associate in 2018. Elizabeth is a transactional real estate lawyer specialising in strategic land and residential development advising land promoters, regional and national housebuilders, local authorities, landowners and landed estates. Elizabeth qualified in 2003 and previously worked as a Senior Associate at a city firm, Herbert Smith Freehills, where her practice focused on high-end investment and asset management as well as the infrastructure project, High Speed 1.

Elizabeth works part-time in an agile way. With three children under 11 life is busy. As a farmer's daughter and now living in a rural Devon village, Elizabeth has a connection with the countryside and, when not at her desk or running around after the children, she will often be in her wellies walking the family dog, running the lanes with friends or enjoying the occasional sea swim.
