James Frampton

James is a Partner in the Private Wealth team.

He joined Michelmores in 2014 from Withers LLP where he trained and worked for 6 years.

James advises both UK domiciled and non-domiciled individuals and families in relation to tax and estate planning. He specialises in trusts, wills and UK tax, advising on the protection and devolution of assets. James also acts for trustees, both onshore and offshore, providing trust and UK tax advice.

James increasingly acts for clients with connections to the US and works closely with US advisers to provide joined up UK/US advice for individuals and trustees.

James is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP). James is a recommended lawyer in The Legal 500.
