Tim Richards

Tim is the Firm's Managing Partner, and responsible for the strategy and development of the Firm. Tim is recognised as an 'Eminent Practitioner' in litigation by independent legal guide, Chambers and Partners.

He joined Michelmores in 2000, having spent his early career at Hogan Lovells, Harneys in the BVI and Pinsent Masons.

Tim's background is commercial litigation, and with over 30 years' experience, he has earned the reputation of being a hugely accomplished litigator, and an effective mediator. Although less involved with client work now, he will continue to oversee some key client relationships.

Tim is passionate about Michelmores, and about ensuring its ongoing success. He believes that the best way to deliver excellent client service is to create an environment that is an enjoyable and supportive place to work. This means continuing to develop a culture that attracts really talented people, who are not only smart, hard-working and ambitious, but also friendly and fun.
