Whitney Haughey

Whitney Haughey, CMP, currently serves as the Conference & Events Manager at the Michigan Association of School Boards since March 2020, utilizing expertise in event planning and management. Prior experience includes a role as Administrative Assistant with the Michigan School Business Officials from April 2013 to March 2020, and as an Assistant Wedding Coordinator at Spartan Signature Catering from December 2011 to June 2012, where responsibilities included managing wedding inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction. Earlier roles featured positions as a Conference Services Assistant at Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center and a Front Desk Agent at Lexington Lansing Hotel. Whitney began a career in hospitality as a Front Office and Housekeeping Management Intern at Mai Tiki Resort. Whitney holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University, earned in 2011.
