Jimmy Walker

VP For Advancement at Mackinac Center for Public Policy

Jimmy Walker has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Jimmy started their career in 2000 with the Legion of Christ and Affiliated Schools as a Senior Development Counsel, where they facilitated the opening of Everest Collegiate High School. Jimmy then moved on to roles such as Development Director at Everest Academy and Acting Executive Director at The Highlands School. In 2011, Jimmy joined the Ohio Historical Society as the Chief Development Officer and Director of Institutional Advancement. Currently, they hold the position of VP for Advancement at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy since 2015.

Jimmy Walker attended Hope College from 1994 to 1996, where they studied physics. Jimmy then transferred to Oakland University and received their Bachelor of Arts degree in physics from 1997 to 2000.
