The association represents the business, technical, scientific, and educational interests of the industry as well as the advocacy efforts of the surface technology community. Our membership includes plating companies and chemical suppliers. Our wider audience includes any industry that uses a range of surface finishing technologies, such as: electronics, automotive, aerospace and defense, energy, medical, agriculture, construction, tools and dies, shipbuilding, steel, plumbing and household appliances. Membership with the Michigan Chapter includes automatic affiliation with the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF).
