Lori Wilson-Patterson has extensive experience in education and support roles, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Michigan City Area Schools since August 2016, where Lori teaches low mild to moderate high school special education students. Previously, Lori worked as a Librarian IV at Michigan City Public Library, assisting patrons with research and computer skills, and as an Adjunct Instructor and Tutor at Ivy Tech Community College, focusing on academic skills advancement. Lori also served as a Jobs for America's Graduates Specialist at JobWorks, supporting at-risk students in their academic and vocational pursuits. Prior to a career in education, Lori held positions at Sullair Corporation and Whirlpool Corporation in export analysis and inventory management, respectively. Lori holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Purdue University Northwest, along with degrees in Adult Learning and Liberal Arts from Walden University and Purdue University Northwest.
