Daesean Ashby

DaeSean Ashby currently serves as the Director of State Advocacy at Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, DaeSean was the Legislative Director at Acuitas LLC from March 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included lobbying and managing client business groups. DaeSean's experience in the Michigan House of Representatives as a Policy Advisor and Member Services Advisor involved analyzing legislation and coordinating events for representatives. Additionally, DaeSean has military experience as a Yeoman in the U.S. Navy Reserve. An academic background includes a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government, along with a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both obtained from Central Michigan University.
