Alan Higgins

Alan Higgins currently serves as a Grants Manager/Budget Specialist and Certified Local Government Coordinator at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation since July 2019. Prior experience includes directorship at Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., overseeing architectural and cultural history projects, and holding roles such as Senior Historic Preservation Planner at Delaware County Planning Department and President of the Recent Past Preservation Network. Alan's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Ball State University, a certificate in Sustainable Military Lands Management from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation from Southeast Missouri State University.
