Charlie Tyson

Charlie Tyson has a varied work experience spanning different industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Food Expediter at Gilmore Collection until July 2013. In 2013, they interned as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Team Maxem, assisting with various tasks such as demo presentations and cold-calling. From 2009 to 2014, Charlie served as an Event Assistant at The Catering Company. In 2015, they worked as a Lead Kayak Guide at Uncle Ducky's Outdoor Adventures until September 2016. In 2016, they joined Invent@NMU as a Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Since December 2016, Charlie has been employed at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, first as a Program Specialist, then as a Project Manager for the PlanetM initiative, followed by the role of Technology Activation Manager for the Office of Future Mobility & Electrification, and currently holds the position of Technology Activation Director.

Charlie Tyson attended East Grand Rapids from 2008 to 2011, during which no degree or specific field of study is stated. Later, from 2012 to 2016, Charlie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from NMU.
