Daniel Leonard, EDFP, has over a decade of experience in community planning and development, currently serving as a Community Assistance Specialist at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation since March 2013. In this role, Daniel focuses on enhancing the physical and social attributes of downtown areas in northern-lower Michigan through initiatives in marketing, branding, job growth, and historic preservation. Prior to this position, Daniel held roles as a Community Planner at Peninsula Township and Clinton County Community Development, contributing to regional development efforts. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Social Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University, following earlier studies at Saginaw Valley State University.
