Edfp Sue Devries

Sue DeVries, EDFP, ACTCP, CAPS, has extensive experience in community development and outreach, currently serving as the Senior Community Development Manager at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation since January 2016. Previously, Sue held roles as Community Outreach Specialist and Neighborhood Stabilization Program Coordinator at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority from April 2010 to January 2016. Additional experience includes serving as West Michigan Protection Manager at The Nature Conservancy from 2004 to 2008, and as President of Garfield Development Corporation from 1997 to 2004. Sue was also an Elected Library Commissioner for the Grand Rapids Public Library from 1994 to 2005. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Public Management from Grand Valley State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in History from Calvin University.
