Kaitlyn Ahlers

Director, Customer Experience at Michigan Economic Development Corporation

Kaitlyn Ahlers has a diverse work experience. Kaitlyn began their career in 2014 as a Contract Ethnographer at SmartRevenue, where they worked until 2016. In 2016, they joined the Michigan Economic Development Corporation as a Customer Experience Research Analyst and later progressed to the role of Senior Customer Experience Researcher. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Manager of Customer Experience at the same organization. Most recently, in May 2022, they were promoted to the position of Director of Customer Experience. Additionally, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at Oakland Community College.

Kaitlyn Ahlers holds a Master's Degree in Anthropology from Wayne State University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Grand Valley State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Kaitlyn has obtained a UX Certificate in UX Management from the Nielsen Norman Group in January 2020. Kaitlyn also possesses a Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GA IQ) from Google, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification was not provided.
