Karen Wieber

Karen Wieber, AICP, has extensive experience in urban planning and community development, currently serving as a Contract Specialist, Redevelopment Ready Communities Planner, and Community Programs Analyst at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation since October 2012. Prior roles include Skilled Trades Training Fund Analyst at the Workforce Development Administration, State of Michigan, and Legislative and Planning Analyst at the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments. Additionally, Karen worked as a Planner for the City of Ypsilanti from May 2004 to March 2006. Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Michigan University between 1999 and 2003.
