Larry Herriman

Larry Herriman has extensive work experience in various roles related to economic development, commercialization, technology transfer, and finance. Larry is currently serving as the University Technology Programs Director at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, where they focus on increasing technology commercialization and entrepreneurship activities in Michigan universities and research centers. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Commercialization at the Central Michigan University Research Corporation. Larry also has experience working at Oakland University, where they held positions such as Executive Director of Innovation Development, Director of Cyber Development, Assistant Executive Director, Director of Finance and Operations, and Manager of Finance and Operations. Larry has also worked at the City of Pontiac, Michigan USA - Government as the Development Authorities' Director of Finances and Economic Development Administrator/Senior Project Manager. Larry began their career at Bank of America, serving as a Merger Supervisor and Management Trainee.

Larry Herriman earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Oakland University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a double major in Management and Business Finance and Operations from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Larry has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge.
