Mike Gietzen

Mike Gietzen currently serves as a Senior Project Manager for Business Development at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation since April 2017. In this role, Mike acts as a mentor and coach, providing training and development to new and existing staff while serving as a primary resource for staff, local partners, consultants, and Michigan businesses regarding state incentive programs. Mike is recognized as a subject matter expert in the Michigan Business Development Program and the Community Development Block Grant programs, managing projects across multiple regions, including strategic statewide accounts. Previously, Mike held the position of Development Finance Manager at the same organization. Mike earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Michigan State University.
