Michigan Ethical Investments is the premier student-run ESG investment fund at the University of Michigan. With a portfolio consisting solely of ethical companies that reflect our ESG initiatives, we aim to grow our members' personal financial savvy whilst leaving a lasting, positive impact on our communities. 

Our mission does not stop at investing. Every semester, we donate a significant share of our proceeds to a charity voted on by our members, and community impact is at the core of our culture. We perform a variety of philanthropic events, such as forest cleanups, food drives, and food bank volunteering, and we are always searching for new, meaningful ways to engage our community.

The Analysis and Investment team at Michigan Ethical Investments is responsible for conducting thorough evaluations of potential investments, focusing exclusively on companies meeting strict Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. This team analyzes market trends, performs financial assessments, and collaborates on stock pitches to curate and manage the fund's ethical investment portfolio strategically. Their work ensures that all investment decisions align with MEI's commitment to ethical standards and community impact.
