Scott DeMand has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Scott started their career as a Staff Intern for United States Congressman David Bonior in 1992. Scott then worked as a Management Trainee/Collector at Mercury Finance Corporation in 1994. Scott then joined the MILITARY/GOVERNMENT and served as an Aviation Ordnanceman, handling bombs and missiles on military jets.

In 1995, Scott became a Regional Sales Manager at CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION, overseeing territory management and maintaining dealer relationships. Scott then joined Onyx Acceptance Corporation in 1997, where they initially served as a Credit Manager, cultivating relationships with over 100 dealerships and achieving performance goals. Scott was later promoted to Dealer Center Manager, supervising a branch team and managing the annual budget.

In 2004, Scott joined Capital One as a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for managing teams, building client relationships, and overseeing dealer relations. Scott then worked at The Chase Manhattan Bank as a Branch Manager, where they successfully grew the deposit base during their two-year tenure.

In 2010, Scott joined Gateway One Lending & Finance as the National Credit Manager. Scott played a key role in starting the entity from scratch and significantly growing its volume. Since 2017, Scott has been working at Michigan First Credit Union as the Assistant Vice President, leading the Indirect Lending function and achieving significant growth in the active dealer base and loan volume.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated strong leadership and achieved remarkable results in various roles within the finance industry.

Scott DeMand obtained their Bachelor of Political Science degree in Public Administration from Wayne State University. Scott pursued their education at the university from 1989 to 1994.
