Michigan Immigrant Rights Center
Tera Warn is a Paralegal at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in social services and education. Previously, Tera served as an English Teaching Assistant for Fulbright Brazil from April 2022 to December 2022 and was a Fulbright Scholar at Detroit Public Schools Community District from September 2019 to March 2022. Other roles included Social Worker at Matrix Human Services, Family Advocate, and Refugee Foster Care Worker at Samaritas. Tera also contributed as a Community Organizer at Congress of Communities and held various positions in outreach and support services, such as Advising Intern at the Center for Latino & Latin American Studies and AmeriCorps Member in the Urban Safety Program. Tera earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Michigan State University, with additional studies at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

The Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC) is a resource center for advocates seeking equal justice for Michigan's immigrants. MIRC works to build a thriving Michigan where immigrant communities are fully integrated and respected.
