Robert Lyscas

VP of Manufacturing Operations at Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center

Robert Lyscas has worked in the manufacturing industry for over 40 years. Robert began their career in 1972 at Chrysler Corporation as a Quality Engineer. In 1982, they moved to Rockwell International as a Product Inspection Manager and was responsible for QA/QC functions during the manufacturing process. In 1990, they joined EG&G, Inc. as Quality Assurance Manager and managed a Quality Assurance/Inspection Organization. In 1992, they were promoted to Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer and developed and implemented a Quality Auditing Program. In 1995, they joined Kaiser-Hill Company, L.L.C. Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site as a Principle Engineering Technologist and was responsible for Quality Systems Integration, Procurement Quality Assurance and Supplier Qualifications. In 1996, they moved to Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center as VP of Manufacturing Operations and was responsible for the organization's training and consulting efforts.

Robert Lyscas completed their education history in 1992 with a degree in Operations Management from James Madison University. Prior to this, they attended Government Institutes, where they earned an Associates degree in Environmental, Health & Safety in 1990. In 1988, they completed courses in Engineering, Quality, Statistics, GD&T, Microcomputer, Business Law, and Management at Rockwell International. In 1976, they attended U of M Dearborn, where they studied Business Administration, Management and Operations. Finally, in 1974 they obtained an A in Accounting and Business/Management at Henry Ford College. In addition to this, Robert Lyscas has obtained various certifications, including Solution Selling Sales Execution from SPI in 2009, Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ in 2000, QS 9000 Quality Systems Auditor from AIAG in 1995, Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ in 1994, ISO Certified Quality Systems Auditor from Oriel STAT A MATRIX in 1994, Certified Weld Inspector from American Welding Society in 1991, and Level I Family Business Advisor from Galliard Group.
